4G battery management system module

Product Description
Industrial Multi-Mode Communication and Integration

The RECS module supports WiFi, 4G wireless communication, and RS485 transmission, offering strong compatibility and flexibility for integration with existing forklift management systems. It supports viewing real-time battery status, historical data, peak values and cumulative statistics. Through an efficient private protocol, it uploads battery data to cloud platforms or other terminals reliably and in real time. It is particularly suited for warehousing and logistics scenarios, enabling centralized monitoring and scheduling of multiple vehicles. This refines battery management, extends battery life, and reduces maintenance costs.

High-Reliability Structure and Adaptability to Harsh Environments

Built with an industrial-grade rugged design, the RECS module offers excellent resistance to vibration, dust, and interference, meeting the demands of long-term operation under harsh conditions such as high intensity, dust-heavy settings, and strong vibrations. A wide operating temperature range (-10°C to 50°C) and moisture protection further ensure stable performance in complex industrial environments, significantly improving overall reliability and service life.

Dry Contact Control and Full Lifecycle Maintenance

The module provides two independent dry contact outputs that can connect to relays, audible/visual alarms, etc., to accurately prevent overcharging, over-discharging, and temperature abnormalities, ensuring operational safety. Based on collected battery data, it enables refined energy strategies and preventive maintenance. It supports multiple alarm functions such as low SOC, high/low voltage, and high current, effectively slowing battery degradation, extending battery pack life, and reducing overall energy consumption and maintenance costs.

Product Installation & Wiring

A. Module Mounting

The RECS forklift battery monitor module can be installed inside the battery pack enclosure, on the enclosure surface, or at a suitable location close to the battery pack negative terminal, in line with the confirmed installation arrangement.

  • Position the module on a suitable mounting surface that allows sufficient clearance for wiring and access.
  • Fasten the module by passing M4 self-tapping screws through the mounting holes and into the mounting surface.
  • The module can be mounted vertically or horizontally, provided the position permits secure fixing and clean cable routing.

RECS Module Mounting

B. Battery Negative B- and P- Connections

  • The current-sensing circuit should be installed in series with the battery pack negative circuit so that the relevant battery current flows through the current sampler.
  • Remove the module cover and connect the copper terminals to the B- and P- terminals as required by the product wiring arrangement.
  • Connect the B- side of the module to the battery pack main negative terminal using a copper terminal and a cable with a suitable cross-sectional area for the confirmed application.
  • Connect the P- side to the negative side of the external load and charger (C-).
  • Confirm that the current sampler is wired in series with the battery negative circuit so that the battery charging and discharging current passes through the sampler.

Installation Verification

Before operation, verify that the module is securely mounted and that the B- and P- connections correspond to the approved wiring configuration. Check terminal fastening, cable routing, and connection integrity before energising the system.

The actual mounting position, cable specification, terminal selection, and wiring arrangement should be determined from the confirmed RECS model configuration, approved wiring diagram, battery system requirements, and applicable installation instructions.

FAQ:
(1) What is the purpose of a battery monitor?

Battery monitors can be used in any scenario involving battery packs. They continuously track the status of the battery pack and display key parameters such as remaining charge, current voltage, current, power, and other relevant data. This allows users to monitor battery health in real time, helping to protect the battery and extend its lifespan.

(2) What types of battery packs can the battery monitor be used for?

It is compatible with mainstream battery types on the market, such as lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion batteries, lithium iron phosphate batteries, sodium batteries, etc.

(3) What is the after-sales service like?

We provide a one-year warranty period. After one year, if the product is damaged due to its own quality issues, we will continue to offer repair or replacement services based on the specific circumstances. For cases where returns or exchanges are not possible due to reasons such as shipping costs, replacements will be sent with the next order.
